Dangerous Goods Training -

The Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 [Regulation 2(2)(c)] contains general training requirements for everyone at work, and these are obviously relevant to the transport of dangerous goods.

Specific legislation for individual modes of transport takes these general requirements further, for example The Carriage of Dangerous Goods and Use of Transportable Pressure Equipment Regulations and The International Maritime Dangerous Goods Code.

These regulations require the employer to ensure that all staff involved in the transport of dangerous goods have received training and instruction appropriate to their duties.

This applies to all staff, from drivers to office staff, warehousemen to container lift operators, forklift truck drivers to managers.

We offer bespoke training courses, tailored to suit the needs of your business and the roles of those being trained. Any course can be tailored to cover those modes of transport that are relevant to your staff. This means that all the course content is relevant and time is not wasted covering material that is not applicable to their needs.

Our courses can be held at your premises, thus minimising the time spent away from normal duties and also reducing costs.
